I have been having a problem on and off for 6 months now.. every other month i have been getting a re-curring itch in my eyes (my eyelids will get real swelled up) and on my genitals and in my anus. i dont really have any big blistering going on.. ive looked at the herpes pictures on the web and it doesnt really look like that.. it kind of looks like a rash.. but it does get really puffy and it is almost impossible to not itch it. can someone please help me! im going crazy

It very well could be herpes, herpes doesn't always cause actual sores. Of course, it could also be something else. You should see a doctor. :)

Sounds more like an allergy than herpes to me, as herpes rarely attacks three places all at once. You might try to consult a dermatologist next time it happens, and try taking an antihistamine to see if that helps.

Could be. Actually it could be anything. Sounds like some sort of allergy/irritation from something to me. Your best bet would be a trip to the doc when it happens again. Some STD's can only be diagnosed and/or are better diagnosed when they are active. Good luck.
