If you have a BM every 3 days then you are constipated with all the problems that go along with it.
You need to change your diet to intake more fiber daily. A person needs 20 to 30 grams daily for their intestines to function properly.
There is no fiber in meats, seafood and dairy products. Fiber is contained in veggies and fruit.

To make sure you get enough fiber you may have to take a water soluble fiber supplement like Metamucil daily with lots of water.

For good colon health, you should have a bowel movement daily. New research is showing that for optimum colon health, the bowels should move 3 times per day. If you are going less than daily, do as Harry suggests, increase your fibre intake and take a fibre supplement like metamucil (I use the smooth orange flavoured one).

You are in serious need of change in diet :nono:

Everyone's body is different. there is no set number of times a day or days a week. Just get those veggies and fruits in your diet and that doesn't mean ketchup :)
