It's been a week or so now since my sister passed away in Arizona. We had her wake and funeral this past Thursday and Friday. She was 45 years old and it happened so fast. From being diagonosed to passing on was only 7 weeks. She went peacefully and that I am thankful for. I hope everyone is able to keep the faith when dealing with this terrible disease.

dempsey,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your sister. I know you wanted her home, it was unfortunate she was on vacation when she passed. But like you mentioned, she went peacefully. I think that makes it easier for the loved ones left behind to know that they are in no pain and did not suffer when they walked throug the gates of heaven. God will take care of her now and remember, she will always be with you, she will be in your heart forever. My dad is with me all of the time, I miss him dearly every day but knowing he is out of pain and in the arms of God makes it a bit easier to go on.
Take care,
K.
