View Full Version : Pulsation?

I have been diagnoised with inappropriate sinus tachycardia, and have had an Echo in '99, two holters, and a few EKG recently. What I have noticed is that when my heart beats, not only can I feel the pulsation in my stomach, back, arms, etc, but I can physically see my stomach move as well as my arms, head, and body vibrate with each beat. I spoke with my cardiologist regarding this, and he said he was sure what it is. My question, is this normal? Given the number of test that I have had should I pursue a second opinion, or do you feel that if this was something to be concerned with the tests that I have had would of picked something up by now? Thanks.

I have the same thing as well.
I think its normal to see your heart beating at what I think they call pulse points?
Sometimes I sit in the tub and I can see my stomach moving with my heart beat.
Plus if I lay on my left side, I can feel my heart beating on
the back of my ear.
I think its perfectly normal.

Yes, I can also hear my pulse through my ear when laying down. It's not so much that the stomach movement bothers me, it's the pulsation of my hands, head, and body. I have searched all over the internet and found almost nothing, with exception of what is called a culligan's sign.
