Hi,
I am new to this board and believe I have IBS. I had a sigmoidoscopy to rule out anything more serious and the Dr said everything looked fine. I have IBS w/ Constipation. I was having lower left abdom pain. Now I have pain in my upper left side of my back. It sort of radiates to the side but it's mostly in my back. It actually feels like a gas pocket. Is this a symptom of IBS? Thanks.

Hi sickofpain,
Welcome to Healthboards. I guess all sorts of intestinal related pains can be IBS related - I've had the kind of pain you describe - and I have IBS.
Raju.
