Any member that posts hateful replies or ANY reply to inappropriate posts is disregarding the rules of this site that were agreed to when accepting membership, as much as the original offender.

From the Board Guidelines:

from)HealthBoards is a moderated Peer Support Community:
Members should alert the board moderator of board concerns or abuse, by clicking on the first moderator name found on the top left of each board's topic list. Provide the exact username, board name, and the URL of the page, to only one moderator, by email only, not on the boards, to report board concerns and abuses.

(from)Additionally:
HealthBoards.com does not have the practical ability to restrict conduct or communications that might violate HealthBoards.com guidelines prior to transmission on the Internet, nor can they ensure prompt removal of offending message board posts.

Volunteer moderators work in their own free time to help protect the atmoshere on this website. They do not have time to spend every minute making sure you never see an offensive post.

Posting criticisms of moderators or sending hateful emails will result in bannings. Posting hateful replies to posts will result in bannings. Everone is under the same posting rules.

If you dislike a post, notify the appropriate moderator and then IGNORE it, and move on to posts you do like. Don't make more work for moderators or fuel the abuser by replying.
