Sponsor *Rachel K* 06-03-2003, 08:56 AM Lukesmommy, The dosage is by weight. If your son weighs 30 pounds then he should be able to take 1 tsp of Super Nu Thera (liquid or powder). I'm assuming that your child cannot swallow capsules. If you order Super Nu Thera from Kirkmans...ask for their "Guide to Scientific Nutrition for Autism and Related Conditions". They will give this to you for free and it has alot of useful information in it. Everything from vitamins & Minerals, Dosage Information, Intestinal Health, how mercury affects the immune system and body, GF/CF diet and lots of other information. Hope this helps some. Rachel tod_s_2000 06-04-2003, 02:43 PM Hey--My daughter was started on Super Nu-Thera at age 2, and she has responded great. I give her one teaspoon each morning in a drink. JayLynn 06-05-2003, 10:13 AM I am interested in giving my child supplements but I don't know how I should go about it. Should I have a blood test done first to see what his body needs? I don't want to harm him by giving him too much of one vitamin. Thanks tod_s_2000 06-06-2003, 10:59 AM JayLynn--I didn't do a blood test on my daughter. The risk of too many vitamins is not very high, because products like Super NU-Thera adhere to the upper limits on each vitamin. You just need to be sure that your child is not getting a large quatity of those from anything in their diet. My daughter made better eye contact and was much more attentive within days of taking Super Nu-Thera |
