View Full Version : Friends and Family and their nighttime dreams

I keep having friends or family members tell me that they had a dream I had a baby. The most recent said in the dream I had a little girl a year and half old. The first time someone told me about their dream like this, I got all excited and thought that maybe it was a "sign." But after so long without conceiving, and my loved ones apparently still having their dreams, I don't see them as signs anymore.

At first, I was hopeful when I heard about the dreams, and then I was just sad and angered, and now I'm numb. Is there any POLITE way to tell my loved ones that I know they care for us and wish us the best, but to keep their mouths shut? I know they mean well, but I'm tired of hearing them. Does anyone else's family and friends do this to them, and how do you deal with it?

Thanks,
Squirt

I have a sister in law who has 3 children that has done this to me many of times.
I am to backward to tell anyone to shut up even though I have often daydreamed of doing so while they are talking about baby this, baby that.
I can imagine the whole scene but i can never make myself actually say something.
I thought of writing it all down and keepin it in my car and when something comes up say wait a minute I have something for you to read. Hand it to them and walk away.

I too get so tired of it. After almost 7 years of it you would think that people would drop it and leave it alone!
But NOOOOO they hav eto RUb it in!!!!!!
lol I am not angry at anyone am I ?
lol Owell
