Hello
Were your kids bad sleepers when they were babies?

My daughter didn't sleep through the night till she was two. And even now (she is almost four), she still wakes up occasionally in the middle of the night and can't fall back asleep.

The reason I'm asking is because my four month old baby is now exhibiting really bad sleeping behaviour. She wakes up at least five times a night crying.
This is, of course, making me worry about autism.

Are you breastfeeding? If so, consider what you are eating as a most likely culprit. If formula fed, what kind of formula is most likely the problem. Dairy, wheat, eggs, sometimes broccoli, peanuts are high allergens/irritants. same with 4 yr old's diet
A diet high in protein, magnesium, b vitamins and zinc, no dairy- along with omega 3 fish oil and Cod liver oil supplementation has been recommended by the forerunners in autism research for breastfeeding moms who have at least 1 ASD child.

Rids,
I think you are definitely right about the food allergies. My baby has been passing blood in her stool for about a month now. I am indeed breastfeeding so I have cut down all dairy products from my diet. It hasn't helped though so it is probably something else which we are unable to pinpoint yet.

As for vitamin B, what kind do you reckon I need?
There are so many types like B1-12.
