Hello-This is my first time on this forum. We're getting so many health problems here, I soon may be on All of them!
For the past several weeks, my wife's mouth has been so sore, she can hardly eat. Doctors can't see anything wrong. A Dr. yesterday found her gums to be a bit tender in a place or two, but this is the inside and sides of her mouth, and not the gums, according to what she tells me. She could not eat a salad tonight, and again, had to resort to soup.
We are financially strapped, have no dental insurance, and the indigent dental program in this town is flat, no funds. I don't know what to do, but was wondering if anyone else has had this and what you were told it was? She hadn't been taking any antibiotics, so we don't think it is thrush.
She takes meds for high blood pressure, 7.5mg. a day prednisone for r.a., Caltrate, and will resume taking Fosamax soon, for osteo.
Thanks so much ~
