What is the best gentle silicone free shampoo and conditioner? I'm using brilliant brunette but it's making my scalp itch and I've heard silicone build up can make your hair fall out. :eek:

I use Giovanni products - I use their 50/50 Balanced Shampoo & Smooth As Silk conditioner. They don't contain any laurel/laureth sulfate derivatives either.

I dont know the best silicon free shampoo. However, if you use a vinigar rinse once a week it will get any silicon build up out of your hair.
