I recently went to my doctor about the same question. I lost about 50 lbs. but the skin on the back of my thighs was a little loose so it looked shadowed and slightly bumpy. I also had faded stretch marks from the rapid weight gain/loss. She told me to take Vitamin E capsules 400IU , B-Complex, and Flax Seed Oil capsules once a day. Also, to use a cream that cotains collagen, vitamin e, and such. I bought one that also had cocoa butter in it, it's for pregnant women to help reduce and prevent stretchmarks. I've only been doing it for about 2-3 weeks but I see slight improvements. The capsules will help rebuild skin elasticity by improving circulation and the cell membranes. It can take 6months to a year so don't expect a miracle.

Cellulite is caused by fat storage that is not supported by enough muscle underneath. If you don't have very much muscle on your inner thighs (like me) then it can cause the fat to sit funny and look wavy. Since I started doing thigh exercises I have noticed that they look smoother. I also had stretch marks on my thighs that I was embarrased about, but after about a year they faded and here it is 5 years later and you can barely see them. They will never go away 100% but they will fade so it is hard to see. My husband never even knew I had them til I pointed them out to him.
