I had the same problem. I went to my medical doctor and they did blood work. Come to find out I had an iron deficiency and the doctor prescribed me iron pills.

 yep sounds like me at your age , i loved eating ice BUT the probs it caused was costly, i have very good teeth no cavites ever an i'm 46 BUT, this is the only good out of that the force you have to use to chew ice up 1st it numbs the never in the teeth so you can't tell the amount of force this froce on your molors drive them into your gums causing an openbite only to be corrected by orthodontic treatment to pull your moves back in place , i know because an 46 that openbite caused TMJ probs an now i'm in braces an headgear moving those molors , not to mention the stress on your jaw joints, i don't chew ice anymore :nono: , joe martin
