I'm new to this board and I'm not sure where to start so ... here goes
currently recovering from slipped disk surgery ... somehow ran out of my percocet tabs early (not sure how that happened) anyway, my best friend gave me 2 pills and said they would help until I can get my refilll ... hey says he's not sure exactly what they are but that they work ... I do trust him of course ... they look like maybe hydrocodone... it's white (or pale yelloW) and long oval shaped tablet
side 1 : E712
side 2: 10/325
anyways, I wouldn't be doing it if I wasn't like really really hurting and in a jam so can anyone please tell me what this is ?
PS - already checked rxlist.com

Hey Jim, No matter how much you trust someone, please never take a pill that you can't ID. IF the med happened to be talwinNX or Temgesic brought across the mexican border it could possibly send you into withdrawal. There are other drug interactions to consider. I understand the desperation of running out early but it's not worth the risk of taking any pill you can't identify.
When it comes to post surgical pain, Running out a day or two early isn't quite the same as having a contract with a PM doc and running out early. After surgery, folks just normally call for a refill when they run out, with the holiday aproaching better to take care of the refill call today. Good luck, Shore
