trainboxer 04-09-2004, 10:46 AM Any advice? Thanks Ima_chick_n 04-10-2004, 12:29 PM I'd try talking to your dentist. Maybe he will be able to recomend one to you. That's how I found mine. :) He really did a great job making me feel comfortable, which was really helpful since I was so scared. I work in a hospital cafeteria, so I also talked to some of the doctors and nurses there and many of them recomendeed the surgeon I went to. Also you might want to talk to some of your friends and find out about their experiences with different oral surgeons, when I did this I found out that almost everyone I know has been to an oral surgeon at one time or another and many of them gave me some very helpful advice. Doppler4000 04-10-2004, 02:53 PM Some newspapers or magazines in larger metro areas will have annual surveys where they ask docs, dentists, etc. who they'd go to if they or their family needed treatment. Those types of things are very useful. Otherwise all you can do is go by word of mouth or the recommendations of a trusted general dentist who has reports from other patients that he/she has referred in the past. |
