Howdy Group! :wave: undefinedIt's been a while since I've had your support. You've guided me through Atkins and even got me to get a pedometer. I remember that night I was crying while watching Dr. Phil on Larry King and found this board! What an incredible experience. My pedometer broke-wouldn't you know it but it did encourage me to start walking 3 miles a day. I'm now on a modified South Beach diet that really is a South Texas diet--catchy hunh? Essentially you replace a lot of foods on the South Beach diet with a lot of the great barbque that we have here. Slowly I've been incorporating more fruit into the diet and I will admit that the one other change is eating spaghetti most nights. I know pasta is a dirty word but actually a little pasta with even less sauce (or gravy they call it here in west Texas) fills me up and the pounds have been dropping. Just wanted to check in and see what y'all thought. :)

One thing to add that I don't think most diets add: when you eat matters. I often am only hungry after 6 p.m. and if I limit what I eat then the pounds come off. Voila.
