I'm a little scared to take it but I'm going to do it. I'm suppose to take it for 5 days. I am already ovulating so is this suppose to make me easier to get pregnant?

Are you taking the clomid on Cycle day 3 through 7? You aren't suppose to take when you are ovulating that would be too late?

I think she ment she is already ovulating on her own without meds.

The clomid will help you have more eggs or stronger eggs depending on which days you take it.

He told me to start taking it on day 5 and take it for 5 days. He said 2 days after I stop taking it I should ovulate. Any of u notice any hot flashes while taking it? I have a friend that said she had hot flashes while taking it. I want another baby so bad and I dont know whats wrong me. Do u think the clomid will help?

I will be starting my second cycle of clomid this week. Scared to have false hopes yet more afraid to lose faith.

RE said FSH too high (18.5)and chances for pg very low. DH & I are just attempting clomid again as we decide on a more agressive treatment. Still do not understand why this is happening at 28yo. Have lotts of questions. Have little cash and our ins. only covers diagnosis.

Would love the support. It's good to know I'm not alone & sad to think there are so many of us.

Any suggestions on treatment and/or discounts on meds?

Don't give up hope texas. I'm also 28 and having problems except its not my thyroid is my progesterone levels are too low. Although I might be ovulating my progesterone level are too low to support a pregnancy. Tomorrow is my first progesterone lab test after I first started taking the clomid I'm hoping this medicine is working for me. But, at least this cycle I didn't have some breakthrough bleeding during ovulation.\

Thanks for the encouraging words wubborgirl. Its not my thyroid either. My RE sys its called "diminished ovarian reserve". I found another term in my research online (premature ovarian failure).

Most of the women on that site had FSH much higher than mine so I'm not clear on what I have & don't have. What I do know is that I still have AF and I still ovulate so I'm not going to give up just yet.

What cd are you starting? I read about a study that showed a better response on day 1-5 and I asked my RE if I could try it. She said it was fine.

Do you go in for monitoring during clomid? She made no mention of this...
