Anyone currently using any fat burners without ephedrine? IF so what are they? and are you having good results? I am currently looking for a fat burner to add to my plan. I just dont want the ones that kill your appetite I want the ones that burn fat and speed up metabolism...

From what I have read, most of the non-ephedra supplements now are loaded with caffenine, or green tea extract or fiber. Basically it suppresses your appetite, makes you more alert. For boosting metabolism, try vitamins such as B-Complex, L-Carnitine, CQ10. I have had good results with CLA also. Cardio and just good exercise is the best way to boost your metabolism to where your burning calories all day long.

Most of the supplements I have tried made me nervous or constipated. If you added some to your diet I would say try it temporary maybe every other day? Good Luck!

Uva-Ursi, releases water weight and relieves any constipation issues, just keep moving and also drink plently of water. All over-the counter diet supplements are a waste of money, Meridian works well to get over eating too much.

I have been working out for a couple months, and am on a diet similar to the South Beach Diet. I have hit a plateau, so I was talking to a trainer at the gym about things to do to break it. I asked him about any supplements, and he said he likes Ripped Fuel, for people who are working out a lot anyway. He started me yesterday on half the dosage for a week (one pill 3x a day), and then if I feel OK to try the full dosage. He said not to take it for more than 6 weeks, because your body adjusts to it, and then it no longer gives you that energy boost. He says he feels that rather than actually speeding up your metabolism, what it really does for most people is give them more energy so that they then put more effort into their workouts and thus their metabolism goes up.
In addition, I started taking CLA (conjugated linoleic acid), which I have been reading good things about lately, for a non-stimulant fat loss supplement.
Hopefully I'll have some results next week:-)
