To the ladies, Have any of you had problems applying lipstick with new dentures. I was so ready to try out new shades that I would have never dared to wear with my bad teeth. But now my top lip seems so thin, and I cant seem to rub the lipstick in. For now I am sticking with lipglosses that have a wand. The other thing is my lips are so so chapped I am addicted to chap stick. Any other ladies have these sort of problems? I know its all vanity and not health related but I am a girl girl lol. Have to have something on my lips lol. :D Dena

Same problems here....especially with the dry lips!!! I did ask my dentist about it and he acted like he'd never heard of this problem - researching it on the net hasn't produced any results either - although I have spoken to other 'newbie' denture wearers, and it seems to be a problem for 'most' of us!!! Maybe someone on this board will have a solution?!?!?!
