View Full Version : Very, Very Subtle Autism?

i just read that obsessive compulsive disorder may be tied in with very suttle autism.
i have OCD and anxiety (and slight derpession due to the obsessions) i also have a very hard time showing affection to ppl. (like for example i dont want to get married because of saying all the "mushy" words in front of ppl.)
when i was younger i was extremly hyper, and what my parents call "stingy"
you would have to break my hands to get me to share toys.
right now i have a hard time accepting compliments (although if my fiance' tells me that his mom said something nice about me it is ok but for her to say it directly to me i get emmbarrased...and quickly try to change the subject.
i get bored easly, i can not seem to keep myself entertained for long (lol)
and sometimes when i try to talk to ppl in public i get all tounge tied and have to start all over with what i was saying.
i also avoid ppl, dont answer the phone alot of the time and sometimes not even open the door for family and friends when they come to visit....
could i have a tiny glimmer of autism is me? or is it something else perhaps?
