 My Father, who will be 78 later this year, had an incident this past Sunday where he couldn't seem to form words. He kept trying to talk but all that came out was gibberish. Approximately 10 years ago, he had what the doctor's diagnosed as TIA. His father, mother and older sister all died from massive strokes. He is having tests done this morning. Does this sound like it could be something more serious than a mild stroke? He seems ok but has had at least 2 episodes of slurred speach over the last 2 days. They last about 10 - 15 minutes.
Thanks for any input.
