:bouncing: Well, I got no response from my last post so, Ill clarify myself in hopes of a resonse. On my shoulder I have a "mass", it is visible when I sdtand in front of the mirror arms by my side. It is just inside, closer to my head, than the muscle one sees when looking into a mirror on their shoulder. It is not "attached" to the skin in any way, in that I can move it around under my skin, but I cannot move it from where it is on my shoulder. It has been there a couple of years, and I havent noticed it getting any bigger. The first time I ever noticed it, it was just there one day and I hadnt ever noticed anything like it before. Sometimes the tension in my neck, I have back problems, seems to eminate from this area as well...any input?

I would recommend you bring it to the attention of your GP....he/she will refer you to a specialist for further evaluation and treatment. It could be any number of things....better safe than sorry.

By all means find a new doctor. That kind of diagnosis would make me RUN to a new doctor.

THATS WHAT I THOUGHT, and the mass is located right above the shoulder with the pain in it....but he said that was just a coincidence...it is located under the skin but above the muscles...
