Does anyone have the symptom of a general malaise feeling with TMJ? A feeling that something just isn't right and blah?
I just got my orthotic last week for an anteriorly displaced right disc and am hoping for some improvement in the way I feel.

Hi Katt. Yeah, I feel that way all the time, but I've got fibromyalgia so general fatigue and never feeling really perky/good are all just part of the ball game with FMS. TMD on top of that too!
I will say since starting my splint therapy last October, my headache, neck and shoulder pain have decreased significantly (which helps me feel better overall), although I did have a rough week with increased pain last week. Pain levels are better this week. My jaws always have a constant achy fatigue feeling to them, but with the splint, the sharp stabbing pains I used to get haven't happened in a long time.
Good luck to you,
Katie G
