I have CRPS-I of my left foot. I have been taking Neurontin for 9 months. I started with 100 mg. and am now taking 1800 mg. daily. Regardless how much I take a day, the pain never seems to drop any more than 10%. My pain on a scale of 1 to 10 is usually around 8.
My question is: Is it possible to build up an immunity to Neurontin?

BOB,
did the neurontin ever help at all.its possible that neurontin is the wrong drug for you.it is not a pain med,it supposedly works for nerve pain but that is not what it was designed for.i believe it is an anti seizure med.a friend of mine who has had numerous surgeries due to a bad car accident had some luck with it after stopping pain meds.
if you are sill experiencing high pain levels then you should tell your doc that it is not working.good luck..........................scott
