I have had ever since I was a teenager a constant ringing in both of my ears. When I am around loud sounds it makes the ringing even worse for a period of time. I have to sleep with a fan going to tolerate the ringing to sleep. I went years ago to an ear specialist about it and he ran different tests and finally just said I was have to live with it the rest of my life and use the fan to sleep. I really hate being in quiet rooms or visit relatives and have to sleep in a room with no sound. I asked my personal physician if any new meds have come out for this and she said no. Does anyone know of any medications or anything to help reduce the ringing. Thanks! :)
