Hello all, I'm new to the board, and hope someone can help me figure this out. I have had PF in my right foot for 1 yr. in left foot for a yr. went to Dr. and had ESWT. My heels seem like they are getting better..slowly but better. About a week before I had ESWT March 24th. I started getting pain in my right forefoot because of putting most of my weight on the front of my foot, because my heels hurt so bad, but it was bearable. I had the ESWT march 24th wednesday, and on Friday I could bearly put any weight on my right foot. I went to the DR. the following Wed. she ordered Xrays nothing. She ordered an MRi FRiday, and the radiologist had no conclusion, so she has sent them to another specialist to read, and it has been a week and a half and nothing still waiting results!! My symptoms include almost debilitating ball of foot pain, ball of foot swelling(not under big toe or little just in the middle, up to the base of the 2-4 toes) and mild swelling on the top of my forefoot. Has anyone had these type of symptoms or have any idea of what I might have. Any guesses would be appreciated. Thank you

Did they check for neuromas? They won't usually show up on a MRI.

that was the DR. suspicion and that's what my family doctor diagnosed. I'm just curious about the swelling? I thought neuroma's didn't have swelling???
