View Full Version : A lot better since coming off tablets!

I'd just like to say that I have been a lot better since coming off my tablets!
I was on 16mg betahistine 3 times a day.

And I hadn't been able to sleep laying down for weeks then when I came off the tablets (for some tests) in that same week it gradually got better and better - and funnily enough - the day of the tests was the last day it actually happened.

I have been able to sleep laying down flat since then and tho I have felt a bit head pressury at times when laying down the room hasn't spun once!!! :D

I think that maybe my tablets were making it worse cos i havent gone back on them and have felt a lot brighter.

The dr actually said that also they stop the brain re-learning balance type of recovery cos they just like block everything.

And I spoke to another guy the other day who took them and they just turned him into a zombie - know that feeling hehe!

Hi Katkin, yep took those for a couple of days and they made the dizzy waves a lot bigger for me and yes I feelt zombifed...They do indeed stop brain compensation though not many GP's tell you this...
Stay off them and stay active. xxx
