First off I have been working all weekend and am now just reading all the posts, sorry it took so long to get back to ya. First things first, I was originally taking 8 mg. sub in the beginning, but cut back to 6mg a couple of months ago just to see what would happen and well nothing, no change at all, so thats what I take daily 6 mg. and doing wonderful at that dosage. I really cant tell a differance at all. Now secondly and most important your son, oh how I feel for you. I would definatly take him to a counselor, but make sure its one that specializes in children. I know how bad you are hurting right now, and dont brush it off. Hes trying to warn you of his feelings and I would take them very seriously. My daughter is a cutter(SHE CUTS HERSELF TO RELEASE THE PAIN SHES IN) I believe he is asking for help even if he says he doesnt want any. Bless your heart I know its so hard for us being a parent, but at least we are in recovery, I dont know what would have happened to my daughter if I would have still been using. Does your son know about your addiction? I will stop for now please keep me posted and you will definatly be in my thoughts and prayers. Hang on things always get better!
