I picked them up yesterday. One is very cute and the other one, is hideous, but I knew Abby would love the fabric (dogs... :rolleyes: ). At any rate, she used them immediately, in the car! LOL. I intend to keep one in the car and one at home. I am hoping the car blanket will help when she is having a meltdown. We'll see. I'll let ya'll know how it goes. :)

Great! I am glad your daughter likes them. Where did you eventually get them from? Are they weighted throughout the blanket or just over the torso? I am still debating about getting one for my son. He doesn't like to keep blankets on now but I hope it will provide him with comfort and he will want to keep it on (considering it is now 10:45 at night and he is still wired!). Keep us posted.

We had them made. I picked out the fabric and got the polybeads and a woman made them for me. They weigh eight pounds each and are weighted throughout, though the beads move around in there, so I guess I could manipulate the weight a little bit. Altogether, I spent about $100 on the two.
