Ive been having problems lately with any type of med that contains "caine" in it.(ie carbocaine, lidocaine etc) At the dentist we thought it was the epinephrine that was giving me this "rush" through my body and head. So we discarded the epi. Still i have a problem with it that now i even have problems with a topical anesthetic. Just put some on a bad cut and had the same "rush" feeling zooming through my body. I'm supposed to have minor surgery on my scalp next week. I told the surgeon about it and he told me " I have never heard of that before"..Of course he didnt...sigh....Has anyone here had any probs with these type of anesthetics ? Please help...ty
