About two years ago I had unprotected sex with a woman of less than stellar moral character....

I have since than suffered from a numbness in my penis and loss of sexual drive, no more morning erections...and a weird issue when urinating during a bowel movement...and only during a bowel moverment...I can sit on the can for 30 minutes and still have urine dripping out

I have no other "normal STD symptoms"....no discharge...no pain during urination...no blisters..no rashes. and neither does my girlfriend of the last two years...

Is it possible for both of us to remain asymptomatic for things like gonorrhea, chlamydia, herpes, and other for more than two years.

Any thoughts on what this might be??...been to my urologist and although he hasnt tested for STD's he is stumped.

HELP

It depends on how well your immune system is to fight off any viral symptoms. I know that HPV can "hibernate" for YEARS without ever showing a sign of infection. Unfortunately, unless you have an acutal wart, diagnosis is pretty much impossible seeing as there are no tests available, for men, to confirm infection. You never know, you might not have any STD's.

GOOD LUCK!

Many STDs are without symptoms even though you may have it. Chlamydia and Gonorrhea has a window period of 1-30 days, so if you have been exposed for 2 years, you should be able to find out by now through testing. HIV may not show symptoms for well over a decade.
