Hi Lee,

So happy to know your mom did well through the surgery. Tell her to stay on top of those meds!! Take them when she needs them, and don't wait for the pain to really get bad again. Tell her we're thinking of her!

Hi Lee http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

Tell your Mum that my thoughts and prayers are with her from Bonnie Scotland and you must remember to tell her to "Take it Easy" that IS a MUST!!!!

I had the same surgery as your Mum, she will be sore for a few day's..if swallowing is a problem tell her to suck on some ice cubes.

Your Mum is loved and missed here Lee, we are ALL thinking about her.

Hi Lee,
So kind of you to post and let us know how Baxter is doing. The advice I have for her is simple... she should just rest, take it easy, not worry about anything... and know that her friends here are all thinking of her and sending her good thoughts and prayers. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

We'll be here to welcome her when she gets back... here's hoping for a speedy recovery and a PERFECT outcome from the back surgery!!!!!

Your doing a fine job so far keep up the
good work. When your Mom arrives home and
in the days to come why not buy her a big
fruit basket. She'll enjoy it and the vitamins
and minerals will help speed up her recovery.
Also get her to drink some nice homeade orange
juice etc, and don't forget to get play her
favourite CD in the CD player. Don't forget to
rent a favourite movie that she likes. By the
way if you help her out immensely she'll remember
how great you were in helping her and perhaps
give you a big reward later down the road. So
tell your Mom that everyone is rooting for her
speedy recovery. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/wave.gif

Hi Lee:

As you can see your mom means a lot to all of us. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/love1.gif

I'm glad she doing well with her meds.
I hope she continues to improve & will be back on here to tell us a success story. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/dance.gif

I don't have much advice except that she should eat & sleep well, avoids stress, & has you by her side to help keep her spirits up & thinking positive.

Please let her know I am thinking about her & wishing her a speedy recovery. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
