Hi, recently in the past few months I've noticed that I get belching attacks that sometimes feel very acidic. Last Monday night, I was belching a huge amounth (I didn't even know belches this big were possible) and they felt very acidic. Since then, the tip of my tongue has felt like it was burned with hot coffee (scalded). Is this acid reflux? I posted a similar question in the HIV forum because I'm very concerned that I may have contracted HIV (although I had a very low risk exposure - I haven an anxiety disorder) and associated my burning tongue as an HIV symptom, but am now looking for other possible causes. Please let me know if this could be acid reflux. Thanks!
