I have had exercised induced hives for about 8-9 years. I don’t exercise much so they have not affected my life to much. However, I do want to exercise and I have started recently (last 2 years) suffering from seasonal allergies. So I am back on the research again to find the problem. I have done it before. When I was 21 I was rush to the ER with an abnormal heart rhythm after many test and a year of seeing doctors. I was getting the usual; you are having panic attacks, etc. I know my body and 180 bpm is not normal for people with anxiety problems. To make a VERY long story short, with mountains of research I found a rather rare condition called V-tach or Ventricular tachycardia. This condition is very life threatening. It accounts for most cases of sudden death in otherwise healthy athletes. But once I found the problem I was also able to find an outstanding team of cardiologists who fixed me up with a rather new procedure for the time. I am happy to say, I have no cardiac problems at all, and have NO cardiac restrictions, or meds. Never accept a BS answer when you know, or even suspect its BS. I think it is possible that the large amount of antibiotics (2000mg daily by IV) I was given for 3 month’s may have played a role in my current allergy and hive problems. I have read Hogan Grimm postings here and I am very interested in people’s opinions and feed back on his research. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, I have dealt with many doctors over the years, I know what it is like to be sick and not be getting the help you need. If anyone thinks I may be able to help them, please let me know, and if you just want to chat about your problems drop me line. Thanks all,
Robert

Hello-
I too have Cholinergic Urticaria ( heat induced hives) . Its been about 3 months now and I am getting sick of it already. I have been to 2 allergist and a dematologist. Basically they all say the same thing.... I have been on so many different medications as well... Please shoot me a message with the details of your condition. This condition has pretty much put my running on hold....

Hey Robert
Glad to see at least someone is taking an interest in some of my posts and I hope some of what I have posted has helped at least one or more people.
I would be happy to work with you and share any of my research and knowledge that I have gained since I became sick over four years ago.
One thing you may be interested in as for the 3 months you were given antibiotics is that it could very well be why you are having problems now because when a person is on them they not only kill the bad bacteria, they also kill the good bacteria which can and does in some cases allow certain other bacteria like candida to grow wild in the stomack and out of control.
I was going to post my research on that a while back but I have been pretty busy with family lately. I will dig up what I have on that and post it. I am also interested in anything you have uncovered since you have been sick.
Thanks
Hogan Grimm

I was put on antibiotics as a last resort or something like that to help my chronic urticaria. As usual, the blood test show nothing. Then my condition seem to get better. But I also found out later that I had cold urticaria. Cristine, if I may ask, how long have u had cold urticaria and how's it now? Do you take any meds? did you go for any blood test? good luck to us-hivers...
