I've always had bunions and standing or walking any amount of time makes my feet hurt. Now I'm 5 wks post op austin bunionectomy. the surgery went very well, I've been very pleased with my progress; but now although the surgery site has very little pain from walking, rather my whole feet get tired and achy after walking just a little bit. I've also been suffering from fatigue that I can't seem to get over with adequate sleep, nutrition, etc. At my next visit my doc said we would discuss orthotics. I'm very excited, not only because my feet hurt, but now i'm starting to think that the foot pain is actually a major contributor to my fatigue. I walk a lot at work, on hard floors. Doc reminded me that I'm still post-op, but I'm afraid the orthotics is my last hope to be pain free.
Are there people who work all day, in shoes, on their feet and yet don't have foot pain by mid morning??
