Could anybody help me with this. I have posted on other boards regarding my stress/anxiety etc and all the symptoms that can give you. I also have all the ibs symptoms, but what i need to know is what causes flat/thin shaped stools. Mine are constantly like this as i have suffered the usual piles/ thrombosed haemorrhoids and been treated accordingly. Thing is i was rushed into emergency 6 months ago with a suspected diverticulitis attack and kept in for a week on an antibiotic drip, had ultra scan, ct scan and blood tests but all came back normal but i have numerous symptoms that are really worrying me through ibs/stress/anxiety such as lumbar pain, stomach pain, hip pain and for the last 6 weeks breathing difficulties with air hunger constantly with chest pain like a feeling of a blockage in my throat/chest. Everytime i see my doctor or go to emergency they think i am just a hypo/ stress case and thats it. I have been on beta-blocker meds for 2 years for high blood pressure/anxiety. am a male, 40 years of age and have been constantly pestering my doctor for the past 10 years. I am waiting to see a GI specialist and a counsellor. Obvious thoughts for me always lead back to bowel/colon cancer which may of spread and they have missed it.Anyone.
