I have just started my son on singulair for the second time. I quit the first time because he was acting crazy. He is only 4 and they prescribed him the 4 mg chewables. It does seem to help his symptoms and the allergy doc said it could be used as needed unlike zyrtec and others that have to be in system awhile. Will he get used to it and calm down eventually? Just wondered if any had any input on this. I know when I take allergy meds they make me feel like I am on speed or they zonk me out.
He has been on weekly injections for almost two years and they really dont want him on anything constantly especially while they are building up his dosage. While its just maintenance its okay. They just redid his labs (food panel etc.) and so they have redone his vial, taking away a couple of the molds and added for dust mites.
Thanks for any help.
:bouncing: THis is chase!!. I wish he would act like this !!
