I'd like to begin by saying that I'm soooooo glad to find this site!!! Next...I'd like to ask about IBS and gallbladder disease. I had my gallbladder removed last year (due to gas, bloating, pain, nausea and vomiting). I had a difficult recovery, and most of my symptoms continued after the surgery. Has anyone had their gallbladder removed, and then continued to have the symptoms to later find out that it was IBS??? The doctors have been giving me IBS medication, so I'm beginning to believe that I may have suffered primarily from IBS.......Also, my doctors have mentioned that they'll do the "scope" procedure if my symptoms continue. My medications seem to work "on and off". What have been your experiences with meds and/or surgeries.
