A few years ago now i first noticed a small bruised like coloration on the top on my penis. As it was very slight i didnt put much thought into it. I thought it might be down to the fact i was circumcised when i was younger.
As the years went on it gradually got worse without me noticing much or paying much attention. Now there are very noticeable bruisings around the head of my penis and a ring of bruising just below where i was circumcised. I havent a clue what could be causing this and its really getting to me.
I would be extremely grateful if anyone could help me out here, im planning a visit to the doctor next week.

That could be simply be from masturbating!

Michael....I can tell you that most of the men I have been with have had a darker ring in the area where they were circumcised. I don't know your race, but I know that the pigmentation of scar tissue can change as we age, and I would imagine that discoloration would differ depending on your skin color. My husband (who is white with a bit of olive complection) says that his "ring" has darkened as he aged. As for the "bruise" on the top, I really can't say. Hope this helps.
