Hi, I have not been diagnosed with any type of nerve damage, but they just ruled out arthritis last week and I have to call this week coming to make an appt for EMG, but I think im going to ask for referral to neurologist and do it that way... Just because so many people have told me to do that...
Anyways... My shooting pain has been getting relatively worse the last few weeks.. I havent had strength in my arms or legs in a good 1 1/2 yrs. For several days it will be in my right hand/arm/elbow and then in my left.. The hand that dont hurt I can use a little more than when it was hurting, but if I do too much it hurts.. Like right now typing, my pinky, middle finger and ring fingers on both hands hurt. Has anyone had that where it switches.. Also today I woke up with my upper right inner leg muscle? hurting, it feels like I have either been beat there or been riding a horse.. (which I havent)..
Anyone else have this?
I also have pain in my right shoulder blade to middle back when i use my back a lot or do a lot of bending and picking up? it feels like it runs to my neck..
My biggest thing is.. I want these doctors to rule out everything possible before having to go for EMG test - I am not even thrilled about doing it..

I also have one other question and have NO idea if this has anything to do with one another - but about 2 mths ago, I woke up with white bumbs all over my tongue and it feels like my tongue was caught on fire, it felt burnt.. I chalked it up to thrush.. Anyone else?
I would also like to know from people that do have nerve damage.. what exactly is being done for you? Are you able to continue having normal life?
Cause I quit my job a mth ago, i couldnt do it anymore.. I was tired of being in pain and tired of feeling so weak and helpless. Which dont matter I still cant do most of my household chores either. THe more i do the more pain I am in and I havent found anything to cure or cut pain in half.
Thanks
