View Full Version : Can someone name some decent insoles?

I should specify and say that these are for several pairs of tennis shoes, so preferrably those that do not cost a lot. I don't have a whole lot of extra $$ floatin' around. I know you get what you paid for, but I am not looking for top of the line here. Just some decent support that is better than what comes in your typical New Balance or Nike tennis shoes.

I am not so sure I would really like the gel insoles. Those seem like they would wear our really quick.

Anyway, your advice is appreciated.

I use "superFeet" insoles, or "powersteps" they are both real good if you need support.
They will fit in most shoes, I wear NB.

I use the phase 4 orthodics. My podiatrist said they're not really orthodics as the name suggests but just regular-ol' arch supports. I have high arches and the skeleton of an 80-year-ol (Im 20). While I still have back and foot problems, I must say that these things really help. The cheesey infomercials claimed to cure a lot more than they actually do (balancing and aligning the body) but they really are pretty decent. They're sold in two parts: the supports, which go for around 20 dollars, and a little blue cushiony thing which is sometimes thrown in for free. I actually paid zero for my pair because I found a like-seen-on-tv type website that sold infomercial products. The company claimed to offer free shipping but when I placed my order they asked for shipping money so I sent an email to complain and the guy said that the offer was over but for some reason was still being advertised on the site so he said that he would send me thee free cushiony things instead and I complained so he told me he would send everything for free if I stopped complaining! Anyway, thats my story (and Im stickin to it... hhaha, sorry but I just had to say that). Well good luck to you! I hope you find somethin that works. Oh, sorry, I forgot to add that they fit into my nikes and new balances without any problems, you just have to hold them down with your thumb while you slide your foot in so you dont push them toward the front of your shoe because they're only about 6 inches long.
