sup man.....
to gain weight you need to eat...ALOT. but you want to gain muscle so you need to eat the right things right? If i were you I would go to some place like GNC and get a big box of protein shakes. In your case riding BMX does not help. People ride bikes to lose weight. Not to gain. You see what I'm saying? And since you won't be making it to the gym this summer try doing some push ups and crunches everyday until then. oh, and about the protein shakes. Drink about 2-3 a day. This things are MRP's (meal replacement powders) so count them as a meal. You should also eat your normal healthy meals making 5-6 meals a day. if you need any help mail me at ** E-Mail Address Removed By Myself, ModSix Per The Board Guildlines **

Hey spork I'm in the same boat. I'm 16 years old, 5'9" 125 pounds!!! Anyway, my doctor said to me when I asked him how to bulk up "There are 2 kinds of people in the world, skinny people and people who wish they were skinny". So anyway my advise would be to drink protein shakes, and work out. I am gunna hold off until i am 18 like you and maby I'll have filled out naturally a bit by that time.
Good luck

Hey Spork. When I was 19 I weighed 150 and I am 5'11". I now weigh 215. I ate a lot of chicken and leaner red meats. I also drank a lot of skim milk. I worked out about 4-5 days a week with weights. I stayed away from cardio as much as possible until I really started putting on weight. My weight lifting has always been a bit heavy. I do cycle in some weeks of lighter weights to work on my explosiveness. If you can start taking creatine do it (just keep your water intake high) Just be patient, I don't remember how long it took me for the weight to start coming, but when it does it does.

Spork and others,
Just incase you do not know this already, Golfer_Ace and Zerander probably already know, but make sure you do some kind of fitness activity while taking protein shakes! Eg, Crunches and push-ups (mentioned by Golfer-Ace) or anything that is going to work up a sweat. Otherwise you will just blow up like a balloon, not in a goo way. Your body will turn it all to fat!
Just a bit of info on the side,
Alex_900 ;)
