I have never posted here, but would appreciate any help or knowledge about this disease. I was given the results of a biopsy today, and they said I have lichen sclerosis. They don't know the causes of it, but think that autoimmunity plays a role in this disease. Does this make it an autoimmune disorder?
Thanks for listening! :D

Honestly, I had never heard of LS before you posted here. I did do some online research and it does seem to be an autoimmune type of disease. I just typed "lichen sclerosis" into the search engine and several sites came up. There seems to be some good information and support out there. Try that and let us know if helps. My heart goes out to you........it sounds like a very "life interrupting" disease!
