I posted this in the sexual health forum but didn't get any replies. Since its a mixed topic post, I decided people viewing here may be more knowledgable.
As you may have seen, I inquired recently about pregnancy, as I engaged in sex on my ovulation day, unprotected, where my partner came about four times. Well today it seems I have started my period though it seems lighter than usual. I also had sex last night (though I would say it was "harder" or "rougher" than my only other time, though it wasnt painful in the slightest). It is seven or eight days before my period is supposed to come. Is this just a very early period (ive never been more than a day early before)? Could it be some sort of early miscarriage? Is is possible that the sex caused it? Thank you for your responses.
ADDITION: Today there has also been some light spotting. Both days, the spotting has been very dark colored.

Just bumping this up in hopes of replies... no spotting today, it was just a two day thing (if that tells anything..)Spotting could be due to many things:
1) Friable cervix (fancy medical term for inflammed or infected) which bleeds on contact. The penis often bumps into the cervix during sex, thus the spotting after sex.
OR
2) Implantation bleed. Sometimes when a fertilized egg implants into the uterine lining there's a little blood.
3) Midcycle bleeding can also be due to ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, etc.
Miscarriage is doubtful. Usually accompanied by lotsa clots and heavy cramping. Wait two weeks and do a urine pregnancy test. They're pretty accurate these days. ;)
