I am 27 years old and I have a 7 month old. Now, I am not sure if that has anything to do with my symptoms but who knows. My stomache has been fluttering in the upper and lower abdominals for the last month and a half. It doesn't hurt but it is the weirdest feeling. At times, I feel very light headed. I have checked my blood pressure and it is normal. For years, I have had constipation off and on but after having my baby, I have been regular. Again, I do not know it that has anything to do with my symptoms but who knows. Has anyone else felt a fluttering in their stomaches? Why?

Hi. I know how you feel. I have had this as well and I developed it after the birth of my daughter. It doesn't happen all the time and it does not hurt at all.. just annoying mostly. It's like a burble or something. I don't know how to describe it. I only get it when I am leaning over or laying down sometimes. I have asked the doctor and she suggested maybe a kink in the intestine. I thought it might be related to the gallbladder problems I was having but I had it removed and I still have the burbles. I never had it before my daughter was born. That was four years ago. If you find anything out let me know! And I will do the same. :)

Hi, Carebear!
I'm still burbling/fluttering/too! I have been on Nexium 40-mg. once in the a.m. for 32 days & it helped a lot at first, then seemed to peter out on me. The gastro added a 20-mg. Prilosec O-T-C to take before dinner---I just started that today. To our new gal--my flutters are esophageal, I think, not stomach. My next move may be to try Xanax or another anti-anxiety med. THe Heartburn Help forums seem to recommend it for fliutters.
Hugs!

Thank you both for replying. I went to the doctor and was told that maybe it was gas or food passing through my intestines. Well, that sounds fine but I still question it.
