I was just perscribed this medication for Gerd. Can anyone tell me if it helps and any side effects etc? How long you have been taking it. Mine has 3 refills and I read not to take for a long period of time. Any info would be great thanks.

I took Aciphex for 3 months with no side effects. It did a good job reducing my GERD, but Prevacid worked better (I tried it for 3 months too). So now I have a years Rx for Prevacid. Good luck with the Aciphex.
