My history... Have had IBS type symptoms on and off for years but nothing major. Last year I had an episode for a few of weeks that the doctors couldn't pin point. I had extreme abdominal pains, left sided and also left mid back. Doctors thought initially that it might be a kidney stone. They checked the urine and no signs of blood so the diagnosis changed to IBS cramping pains.

Anyway, everything did settle down after about 3 weeks I guess. Since then I've had the odd episode of IBS. Then this week, 2 days ago, I started getting stomach bloating along with sore throat, bit of a cough and generally feeling down. At the moment I have a bloated stomach, cramping, backache and a kinda burning feeling, like hunger pains. Reminds me a bit of last year which I'm not wanting to repeat.

The backache is mid to lower, thw stomach pain is pretty much all over. The gut is also making gurgling noises and I've had some, but not lots of gas.

Any thoughts?
