Has anyone ever heard of calcium deposits or calcium tumors at the base of the brain? If so, what is that condition called? I have the words "magna goma" written down, but I can't find that name anywhere.

the only time I've heard them mentioned is on my mother, she has them all over her elbows, hands, joint areas, she has severe rheumatoid arthritis. The doctor called them calcium deposits or tophi (sp?)...now seems like I've heard of magna gioma???

Look under "brain sand(s)" in your search engine. I have a calcified pineal gland by the time I was 18 and found out this is normal.

That is all I know about calcification of the brain.
