My Dad just got a book called "Uncommon cures" (published 2004). I looked up Tinnitus and found the following tips (most I had heard of before, but the hot feet one was new to me):
-Ginko Biloba
-decrease caffeine
-vitamins (especially B3 Niacin)
-antidepressant (low dose)
-cut back on aspirin
-hot-feet helper ("Some tinnitus sufferers report they have eased the ringing by placing a heating pad on their feet and another on their hands". A way of outsmarting the ailment. This is apparently enough of a call to the circulatory system to reroute blood toward the arms and legs").
I haven't tried this yet. If any does, let me know if it helps.
