View Full Version : This "lump" thing is threatening to drive me insane!

Were in the world does it come from? I mean it can't honestly be a lump or I wouldn't be able to swallow. The only time it goes away is when I am eating and about 10 minutes later it is back in full force. I can swallow fine. It is even there when I wake up in the morning after several hours of fasting. How can it be related to acid? The Prevacid isn't helping. In fact it may just be making it worse. I mean I used to have it on and off. It has now been constant for about 30 hours, after 5 days of Prevacid. Could it be not enough acid? Wouldn't that be funny! All these brilliant doctors telling people to take this PPI and when that doesn't work take more for longer and when that doesn't work try this one. Amazing! When I think about the numerous posts I have seen on this site with reference to this exact same "sensation" I am shocked! Think about the other people walking around with the same feeling that aren't here for representation. We should all get together and go to the doctor together and refuse to leave until they actually validify this problem. Acknowledge that the feeling is real and find out why it is happening to so many people. Sorry for the long vent! I am just so frustrated with this insane feeling!

Hi,

Wow, I can't believe that people have the EXACT thing that I do. One Doc told me it was a thing called "Globus". He said the more you focus on it the greater the discomfort...go home...drink water....quit thinking about it.....UGH!! That worked for about two hours! I don't have to be thinking about it...it feels like my esophagus is turning inside out and soon going to come up my throat. It is a terrible feeling. I also have pain in my upper back and the back of my neck and in my chest. What to do?? Who knows?? The Docs obviously don't. We have to be proactive about our health, so I keep researching as much as I can. This condition is growing progressively worse...the pain in my chest and back is getting severe, I'm constantly on pain killers...and that can't be good for a person. Is it all related? The pain in the chest, back, shoulder and under my left arm...sometimes down to the elbow and tingling in the 4th and 5th fingers of my left hand. That is somehow related to the ulnar nerve I think. I wonder if there is something pressing on my esophagus and the inflammation is putting pressure on the nerve somehow??? I have exactly the same symptom of the lump in my throat feeling worse when I'm hungry, then I eat and it comes back about 10 minutes later. I also feel very fatigued just before I eat....weird, eh?

Selah, do a search for laryngoparyngeal reflux (LPR) on the web. I found this and think it might be the cause of my "lump" feeling. I also feel a tightness in the front of my neck/throat and sometimes a tension type feeling in the base of my neck and shoulders. Different than what it sounds like you have. It is not painful, but I have thought that a chiropractor might help me with that. You might find the LPR symptoms to fit you atleast partially. Hope this helps you some!

I have the same thing. I had this feeling for 5 months 11 years ago and was put on Zantac. It went away and I was symptom free for 10 years. About 8 months ago, I started having acid reflux, the acid came up into my throat in the middle of the night and burned like crazy so I went to the GI dr. I also had diarrhea. He wanted me to have an endoscopy but I refused, I was scared. I did have a colonoscopy and was fine. My family dr. put me on Prevacid 30 mg. I took it for a few weeks and then was ok. The acid came back in February, waking me up in my throat and it burned like hell. I started the Prevacid again and was fine.

I stopped it 3 weeks ago and last week got the "lump in throat feeling" and burping all day. I started the Prevacid 5 days ago and am still burping, not as much, and if I bend over, I burp and feel like the food is moving up but has not come up. My throat feels sore every now and then it feels all of a sudden burning.

Tmorrow I am going to the GI doctor and I am sure he will suggest an endoscopy which I at this point WANT. I have read so much by now that I am afraid of what permanent damage has occurred, maybe even since 11 years ago. I totally understand your frustartion with this feeling. There are charts that rate quality of life with certain diseases and this one is way up there. I am miserable!!
The Prevacid has not removed this feeling yet. It's worse right after I eat for about an hour, then it subsides. I will let you all know the results of my endoscopy. Thanks for reading all this.

Hi all, I am wondering if the "lump" feeling could be due to a hiatal hernial.
Just had my second endoscopy in two years due to Barrett's Esophagus. Have been on PPIs for a year or two. I started developing chronic upper right quadrant pain, so finally went off them and feel much better. Take prescription zantac now. No problem. However, despite the endoscopy last year and two barium swallow tests, this is the first time the hiatal hernia has been discovered. Because it is small and slides. So, I get that full restricted feeling as well, particularly if I am eating quickly and not chewing my food enough. So just wondering if that could be the hiatal hernia. Just a thought....

I have recently been diagnosed with LPR Reflux - I have been taking Aciphex and Nasacort AQ for almost 2 weeks - I have some days that are better than others but from what I've heard, it can take months to repair the damage that may of been caused to the throat and larynx. I have a constant feeling of a "lump" or something in my throat, actually it's more in the gland area below the ears along the jaw line at the side of the throat. This is why for weeks I figured it was sinus drainage, and my regular doctor was treating me for that with no relief. I even went to the ER one day as I felt like my throat was closing in on me.....I finally went to an ENT who diagnosed the LPR - and I'm just hoping that I'll start feeling better soon. I am so wore out from feeling like this, I am constantly tired and just want to lay down all the time, because it doesn't bother me as much when I lay down. I am trying desperately to quit smoking, and quit caffeine to see if that helps, and also changing my diet - I just want some relief!!!

wow im so glad i finally found other people with my symptoms! i guess it all started for me in may of this year. i thought i had mono because i felt like my lymphnodes were swollen... after 3 visits to the ER and two different ENT's, my mother told me that a friend of hers had similiar symptoms and it turned out he had GERD. i finally saw a GI doctor, and he said just by the hoarseness of my voice he thinks that i have acid reflux. britishgirl, you have the same symptoms i did-- the gland area right below my ear and my jawline and all down my neck hurt me so badly some nights, i made my boyfriend take me to the ER... it was awful! i couldnt figure it out... i thought i had everything from thyroid disease to west nile! i was depressed for most of this summer because i felt like no one could figure out what was wrong with me!

i used to be a heavy coffee drinker, and i love wine and tomatoes and everything that i shouldnt eat! this is a huge lifestyle change that i have to make, especially since i'm studying abroad in spain this upcoming school year.

aside from my sore glands/jawline, and ear pain... the lump in my throat is definitely the worst! i feel for all of you... sometimes i went into choking fits when i would eat and i couldnt even swallow my food. it has also caused me severe anxiety. i know it sounds dumb, but really... the more you think about it, the worse you feel. though the pain wont go away until you change your diet and/or take medication or whatever the doctor tells you to do... try to forget about the lump!

though i really am not happy about having acid reflux, i am so relieved that i finally figured out what the hell was wrong with me! i have had the lump sensation since i was young, and never knew how to explain it to anyone, or what caused it... but this summer it got so bad that i had it every day from when i woke up to when i slept that i had to finally see a doctor.

im sorry this response has been so long... but im sure you understand what it feels like to finally learn what is causing all this! my suggestion to all of you is do research on the internet... especially for LPR. i was put on 3 different medications before this, all did absolutely nothing for me except make my symptoms worse. another suggestion, if you have been on antibiotics for this... antibiotics kill all the benevolent bacteria, L. acidophillus, in your digestive track... and if acid reflux is your problem, a lot of times it will make your symptoms a lot worse. you can buy pills at GNC or a vitamin shop... they may not help, but anything is worth a try!

good luck to all of you... i will let you know if i find out anything more!

Its nice to have someone else validate what we are experiencing, it's hard to explain it to anyone. With me it's not so much painful as annoying, it feels like I have cotton stuck down the side of my neck from my ears down the side of my throat.....does that sound familiar? And it often feels like sinus drainage, which i think is from post nasal drip. I was on 2 rounds of antibiotics in the last 2 months, for what was assumed to be sinus infections. So you think that could of made this worse? Does anyone else suffer from fatigue with LRP also?

This is what I have figured out about the 'lump' feeling. I hope it might help someone. I've had a lot of trouble with this. I think I may have some reflux into the throat, but I think the lump feeling comes more from stress and clenching teeth at night. I think it is a muscle spasm due to anxiety. I think the problems combine to make everything worse and hard to diagnose. But since I found that Flexeril at night helped me, I think my diagnosis is as good as the several doctors I have consulted. I also think allergies fit into the mix somehow. As you can see I am still working on figuring this all out, too.

I wish I could figure this thing out, so if you find anything new please let us know. I find that the sensation of something in my neck goes away when I lay down and is much worse when standing? I am EXTREMELY tired most of the time and am also experiencing some pain and full feeling in my ears. Also in my sinuses under my eyes, I keep getting pain, now what does that have to do with the throat I don't know. Right after I was diagnosed, almost 2 weeks ago, I got this horrendous pain in my ear that went down to my jaw - the doctor said it was a muscle spasm....has anyone else experiencing any of these symptoms.

Please believe me when I tell you that I had this for two years!!! Each and every damn day I worried about this. I would sit in church and pray for my throat!! I couldn't understand what the hell this was! I always had this lump feeling on my right side, always!! I layed on the bed one day curled up in a ball and bawled to my husband that this was it for me!! Throat cancer for sure!!! You know that movie with William Hurt called The Doctor? It's about him being a doctor and getting throat cancer. Well, quite coincidently it came on two times during this period for me!! I kept thinking it was a sign! Guess what? Total anxiety!!! I promise you this is what it is. I know you think that it can't possibly be because the symptoms are so real, and they are. But trust me when I tell you, that as soon as you are able to really take your mind off of this, it will go away! :)

Ced,

I do have a history of panic attacks, but they have never manifested themselves in this manner before - so you are saying that this sensation in my neck/throat area is possible caused by anxiety? So I could be giving up caffeine, spicy foods, etc. and that could possibly not even help the situation?

Harry

You should give them up anyway if you have throat/lump problems!!

katums828
07-28-2004, 11:16 PM
britishgirl- i definitely agree with ced about the anxiety part.... but i dont think that is the complete cause of your pain. you are experiencing almost to a T exactly what i have been for the past few months now. i had the worst pain in my right ear and underneath it, i thought there was a gland there, and the pain traveled all the way down the right side of my neck... and then my right jaw started to hurt. i even thought it was because i needed my wisdom teeth out. i dont really have a history of panic attacks, but whenever i get that lump sensation in my throat, it definitely brings out intense anxiety... especially before i found out that the most likely cause was acid reflux. when you dont know whats wrong with you, often your anxiety gets so much worse.... hell, i thought i had throat cancer too! :o its crazy.

also... your sinus pain is most likely related also. people who have LPR and/or GERD a lot of times have a history of sinusitis... so it really is all related. LPR alone causes so much discomfort. i still have not been to the doctor for my endoscopy, my appt is on monday, but he thinks i almost definitely have acid reflux.... all my months of worrying about throat cancer and west nile!

i will keep you updated, britishgirl, ... but my best advice is to do research on the internet(or up to date books) about LPR and all its side effects and symptoms. a lot of times, when you have LPR, the lump sensation wont go away for quite some time especially if the acid reflux has caused any erosion in your esophagus... it can sometimes takes months to recover and feel normal again.

anyway, chat soon! good luck till then!

Thanks for the response - it's amazing - you think when the doctor's give you medicine that you'll feel better, but I guess sometimes it just takes a while. I am definitely less anxious now that I know what is causing this feeling in my throat/neck, but there are times when I still worry that maybe it's more than it is. At least the anxiety attacks have eased off - I was having them every day for a few weeks and really getting scared.

I'm still trying to figure out what makes it worse, and when it feels better, I guess it's a learning process to figure all this out. It does help to have this board where we can bounce things off one another, for confirmation and validation. Does anyone experience any side effects with Aciphex? I've been getting headaches a lot more recently and not sure if it may be that. I've also cut down on my caffeine intake, so it could be due to that.

katums828

i used to be a heavy coffee drinker... like since the age of 13, so when i completely went cold turkey about 2 months ago and cut out coffee from my daily morning routine (as well as numerous cups throughout the day), i had the absolute worst headaches of my life. i got them on every part of my head, from the back to the sides to down near my neck. this was also during the time when i didnt really know what was wrong w/ me, so more self-diagnoses were going through my mind, but they stopped after about 2-3 weeks, and i realized they were caffeine headaches. you dont realize how strong of a drug coffee really is until you get off it. hope your headaches subside!

ps... i had my endoscopy yesterday... turns out i have a 2cm hiatal hernia and have to go back to the doctor in 2 weeks, because he took a few biopsies..... he put me on 40mg of protonix twice a day. havent really noticed much of a difference yet though. it probably doesnt help that i still drink wine and eat tomato sauce. coffee is really the only thing that ive cut out of my diet completely.

katsum -
What symptoms is the hernia giving you? Is that a cause of the throat lump sensation?

I don't go back to the doctor for another 3 weeks and then he'll do the fiber optic scope down my throat to take a look down there I guess. Is that an endoscopy that you're talking about? Or is that something different?

I also had the lump in your throat feeling. It all started after I was diagnosed with GERD five years ago. I was convinced that the feeling was acid refluxing all the way up to my throat. I had a Nissen Fudiplication hoping to get relief and three days after surgery the sensation was back. It took me a LONG time to finally accept that the lump in the throat feeling was caused by anxiety. Believe me I didn't want to believe it. Once I accepted what it was it did get better. I have had it occassionally since but it only lasts for a day now and not years. I hope this helps you.

I can't believe others are going through this as well!! I've been suffering big time with this lump thing for the past 6 months or so. I've had anxiety disorder for years, but this lump is new. It all began six months ago when I started to take prozac. It got worse as I increased my dose. I quit after 2 months, but the lump feeling has not gone away, in fact it is getting worse. I had an upper GI/small bowel follow through a month ago, which showed nothing abnormal. I have also been getting these occaisional feelings that everything in my stomach is being pushed back up my throat...I can feel this wave begin where my stomach is, and move upwards. The GI doc said that this is just reverse peristalsis, and not to worry about it. Reverse peristalsis?? No thanks, I like my peristalsis to go in the forward direction thank you very much! :bouncing: She also said to try NOT to think about the lump...yeah right! I take ativan (o.5mg daily) to help with my anxiety. What else is out there to help this, since no reflux was shown on the xrays. Years ago I took a drug called prepulsid (taken off the market recently) to help with esophageal spasms. I wonder is some other type of motility regulator would help? This is absolute hell, no matter what I do, the lump is there. Sometimes it also feels like the inside of my esophagus is full of prickles, like I swallowed a cactus or something. I think there should be a support group for people with this, because it really does cause tremendous suffering.
Thanks for listening.

Have any of you tried Magnesium. -- It cured my wife's throat lump and swallowing problem last year -- after beingon Prilosec for 6 years.

I just posted a web site on the Information Acrhives at the top of this board -- the Miracle of Magnesium.
I think it's worth reading and and considering. A doctor certainly is not going to suggest it.

I wish all of you well---Harry

britishgirl- when you have an endoscopy, they give you a sedative and you are basically knocked out while they put the scope down your esophagus, so unless that is what your doc is doing, you are probably having something different done.

harry- i just started taking magnesium 2 days ago. currently i am taking: GNC women's ultra mega multivitamin, 500mg magnesium supplement, an acidophillus supplement, and 4-8 oz.s of pure aloe vera juice a day...along with the 40mg protonix twice daily(80mg a day) that my doc put me on... am i taking too much or too little of something? ive done my research, but i wasnt sure if taking all of this stuff together would be bad...also, is my combined 750mg of magnesium a day too much? and should i only take the acidophillus after im on an antibiotic or is it safe to take all the time?

any suggestions???

 Hey Harry,
Thanks for the info. I am willing to try the magnesium to see if it helps - could you help me out on the dosage and whether I should take a calcium/magnesium combination? I am 41 female and weigh around 145 lbs. I'm hoping that this will help me and from what I read at the link that you posted, it sure sounds like it might help a lot of symptoms.

Awaiting your response..........and thanks again. :bouncing:

The daily dose is 1000mgms for Calcium and 400mgms for magnesium. To increase absorption they need to be taken in divided doses 3 or 4 times daily.

Minerals are only absorbed for 2 to 3 feet of your small intestines -- if taken all at once you only get less than 10% of was is on the container.

I like the chelated type best because it is (I think) the most readily absorbable. It is a protein amino acid--- gycinate and lysinate.

katum --it sounds like you're getting too much magnesium but I'll bet if it is in a one pill form -- it is not being absorbed.
Acidophilus is OK daily but is sensitive to heat in shipping and destroyed by stomach acids. So take at bed time. The better ones advertise that they are not affected by stomach acids. Pearls by Enzymatic Therapy and Beads by Natrol, PB-8, Kyodophilus, etc

harry- i just checked my vitamins. the multivitamin i'm taking that has 250mg of magnesium is time released, but the magnesium supplement that has 500mg is not. would it be better if i took my multivitamin in the morning and then took the magnesium supplement at dinner, or before bed, so that it spreads out the absorption? also... should i look into taking a calcium/magnesium pill instead of just the magnesium? and if i do that, i should try and get one that has like 400-500mg calc/200-250mg mag in each pill and then take it 2-3 times a day? one more thing... the aloe vera juice im taking reccomends 8 oz. a day.... does that sound about right?

thanks for your time, i appreciate it!

Katum,
I have take aloe vera juice from time to time but have never taken that much on a daily basis. It is good to aid in healing some stomach disorders, constipation, ulcers, hemorrhoids, rectal itching and some colon problems.

It is used homepathically in very small doses to aid in re-establishing your system ater taking many different types of medication. The book says, "there is no remedy richer in portal congestion and none that give better clinical results".
As with any supplement like this when taking like you are in material doses it is possible to develop an intoleance --- so using it should have a defined objective and not used on an ongoing basis. Be careful!!!

The Multivitamin that you take may be time released for the water soluble vitamins(B vits) but I have done alot of reading and taking minerals and I don't know of any time released magnesium but I will call the several manufacturers later today and find out if there is any on the Market-- the Vitamin Shoppe representative I called said that they did not list any and they carry over 25,000 products from more tha 300 different Brands. I just called and said that I wanted to buy a time released magnesium and calcium supplement -- So, now I am curious as to what brand is your Multivitamin??
As you can tell I don't mind helping you get on the right dose but too much is not better.

As you may know there are many companies on the market selling vitamins and minerals --- they are not regulated by any Government agency so some are better than others.

God Bless---Harry

Thank you Harry!!!!!!
I don't know if it is a coincidence or if the magnesium really works that fast, but I have been lump free for the past 48 hours. (watch me be jinxing myself here).
I had purchased a magnesium supplement a few months ago, based on the recommendation of a homeopath. My diet is severly lacking in magnesium. She said it would help with my anxiety, but I never really took it (maybe once or twice, then I put it back in the cupboard).
All I can say is WOW!!!! :bouncing: That lump was beginning to consume my whole existance, and it is wonderful to be free of it (I just hope it stays like this).
Now, if only I could get my anxiety under control  , life would be just peachy!
Thanks again,

harry-
the multivitamin i take it GNC brand. its their own women's multivitamin. im sure youve heard of GNC. i actually decided to stop taking it though because there are a lot of minerals and herbs in it and i felt weird when i was on them(as do a lot of people i have talked to). i wasnt sure if maybe there is something in them that is bothersome to acid reflux.
i am planning on buying a calcium/magneium supplement and taking that daily, and then only taking the aloe vera juice and acidophillus occassionally when i need it. i dont really like being on too many pills, but the way it sounds is that its ok to take the mag/calc, which im sure i am lacking in anyway.
thanks for your help!

I started taking a calcium/mag the day before yesterday, and yesterday was actually a good day for me.....maybe it's psycological, but I feel better! It's a high absorbency pill, with some other herbal ingredients in it also, like green tea extract - so I'm optimistic that this is going to help me. :D

Years ago I had the lump in the throat sensation and couldn't shake it.

Was dwelling on it day after day and was convinced something was horribly wrong. But...I was able to eat, and talk, etc., etc. Finally I read about Globus Sensation.... which is just that, a "sensation."

Uncertain as to whether or not I had it, and not wanting to see a doctor at that particular time, I tried to ignore the "sensation."

Since I have always had a tendency to worry too much about health anyway, I thought there was a minute possibility this was a psychological problem rather than physical. So... one afternoon I went to a movie, a hilarious comedy that kept me occupied and completely distracted for over two hours.

Guess what ---- at some point during the movie I realized that when I swallowed there was NO "lump" sensation in the throat. AHA!!!!!! I was right -- it was all due to my worrywart personality!

From time to time it has cropped up again, but never to that extent and just distracting myself ends the problem. Try it if all else fails, medically, and docs tell you there's nothing wrong --- the mind is a VERY powerful thing and you can convince yourself of just about anything.

To HLYNNA:

I've had the same problem periodically, and yes, it about drives you crazy. I came across information on the net that indicates it is a spasm. After reading further information, I have to agree that it is a spasm "thing". What I haven't figured out is what triggers it. I've testing with various foods and what I drink. It does seem to come on when I've had hot coffee.

Do you have a hiatial hernia by chance? I do, which may have something to do with it as well.

Just posted on this site under Nexium/Prilosec Alert today, so read my thoughts on that if you like.

Good luck,

Hi, I was just reading back on the boards to find any info. I could. I too had that feeling last week. I found this on the web: http://www.nexiumresearch.com/cricopharyngeal_spasm.html
But I don't know if that's what I had or not. It started with a weird esophageal spasm and then a week later I felt this lump in the back of my throat that would only go away when I ate. Now it's gone and I just feel tightness in my throat every once and awhile.
How are you feeling now?

I had the dreaded LUMP too! It started when i was in my teens. I remember i used to freak out about it and thought for sure i had throat cancer or something horrible. I really cant tell you if it was anxiety caused by GERD or if it was the GERD that caused the lump in my throat that would go down when i swallowed and come right back up, but i haven't had a lump in my throat since and its been about 5 or 6 years since i started taking prilosec.
I believe it went away probably a few months after being on prilosec.
If the magnesium thing dont pan out for you, make SURE you find a PPI that works for you first and you might try taking some DGL licorice lozenges and see if that helps heal your throat a little faster. Its good stuff. I wish i had known about it back then.

well each of your post sounded like me talking. we have all been to docs to no avail. i have taken harry's advice and have added magnesium to my daily vitamin intake. probably not taking as much as harry suggested, because at the time i wasn't sure how much to take. thanks to all of you for sharing my exact same symptoms. i believe we are all suffereing from anxiety and i certainly hate to admit that, because if feels like i am week and not in control. i like to control myself, but i believe myself is controlling me, if that makes any sense. thank you all for your post.

I can relate to the lump in the throat feeling. Mine comes and goes and seems to have preassure associated with it. I need to burp but can't. When I do, I get some releif but the pressure builds again. Been on every PPI around. But nothing works.

I had a colonoscopy a few weeks ago to rule out intestional problems. My stomach was hurting as well.

I don't want to keep going to the doctor and complaining about problems.

What to do?

I haven't posted for a while, but am getting frustrated with this "sensation" in my neck/throat area. I have been diagnosed with LPR Reflux and put on Aciphex which I've been taking for about 3 months now...what gets me is that I can go a week or so with no symptoms whatsoever and then out of the blue it creeps back on me, and then I suffer terribly for a few days. Like yesterday and today I can hardly function, I feel like someone's hands are clamped right below the ears on my glands and I am so very, very tired. Last night I even took 1/2 of a xanex because I was becoming so stressed from the constant feeling of this thing. I'm really starting to wonder if it is reflux, or if it's something else - I have another dr's appointment next week and am going to ask if it could possibly be anything else. What concerns me these days is that the doctors are so readily prescribing meds (especially the new ones on the market that don't have a generic yet)! Are they really investigating all possibilities of what could be wrong. I just don't know what to do anymore, I've tried giving up certain foods/drinks, changing my diet and habits and nothing keeps this at bay.

I have been having similar problems still too. Sometimes the lump comes and goes, at times I feel like I can swallow it and other times I can't really. I also have this tightness around my neck and somtimes it feels like it's inside around my throat. I haven't been to the Dr. yet because I'm waiting for my new insurance to take effect. Anyway I've heard that the medication for acid reflux can actually make things worse and cause all kinds of new problems. I just wish the Dr.'s could really know what's happening.

Did you ever find out what the problem was? I'm going on 5 months with this dam lump and not a single doctor can tell me what it is. One actually told me it was all in my head and to stop thinking about it!

Could it be muscular? Defiency in a vitamin? Any replies are appreciated.

I have also had a lump in my throat for about 2 months, mine started after I took an antibiotic. I have tried the acid reducer drugs, but they also seem to make my symptoms worse. I went to an ENT and he suggested that it could be a yeast infection in my throat. I have done some additional research on the topic and it does sound like a real possibility. The lump in the throat feeling could actually be yeast growing. I am still working on getting rid of the feeling, by diet changes and anti-fulgal foods.

I also have this feeling--like a golf ball lodged in my throat or the feeling you get when you are upset (but not). Mine seems especially bad at night. It is getting to the point where my gag reflex is getting worse also. I came across something called Globus Sensation on the internet which could be what it is called. I am pretty sure mine is due to either acid reflux or chronic sinus/ear infections causing everything involving my ears, nose and throat to swell. I am scheduled to see an ENT sometime in the next little while and I am going to ask him about it.

When I get the lump in my throat, I take Michael's Quick Immune Response and Adrenal Support Glandular by Natra Bio, several times a day until it goes away. They are purchased at a health food store.
